Banner Advertising – Create Banner Ads Differently to Enhance Its Effectiveness

Every person has his or her own views on banner advertising. Some are of the view that they do not make an impact, while others feel that creating them differently can make things look up. The former can be dismissed as pessimists, while the views of the latter can be accepted. Doing things in the same manner consistently can make them boring but doing them with a different angle can make them fresh.

nk” href=”http://www.rupizads.com/”>Banner advertising can become more effective and efficient if banner ads are put up at the appropriate places, targeted at the right people and the correct techniques are used at the most suitable time. In short, creating banner ads after considering all the finer points can enhance their appeal and impact.

The use of animation in creating banner ads can help you attract customers. The first screen should be catchy, with subsequent screens offering customers what they want to buy. I use a site called Cellyspace for my business (real estate). Cellyspace has a broadcast feature that lets me create broadcast alerts with pictures and text of new listings. It's really amazing once you get the hang of it. I'd say try it out.

There are several ways to do this but I recommend the following:

If you haven't already, download Firefox. This is an alternate web browser to internet explorer. It is the safer alternative to internet explorer (and it looks no different).

    Method 1:
Download the 'NoScript' extension. This is an 'addon' for the browser which gives it the capability of 'blocking' scripts on the internet. With the sites that need scripting, you can just allow them in your 'acceptance list'. As well as blocking ads, you will also be browsing the web much safer than usual. This is a good security measure to have in place.

    Method 2:
Download the extension AdBlock Plus (for firefox).

You can apply at affiliate programs and promote some of their products. From there you can get the banner ads that these products have. Commission Junction (cj.com) is one site you could go to.

  13. Dr. Rosenrosen says:

Banner ads are primarily used as an advertising tool — whether as branding mechanism or to get clicks and hopefully conversions. It is not typically used for organic search results

The only time it can have some SEO impact is when the link to the banner ad is hard coded to the site, that the search engines may pick up the link and count it as a vote towards the site.

But that is only done by the very small sites who have no banner ad server or the few sites who really sell hard coded advertising on their sites. Most sites that accept banner advertising use a banner ad server that allows them to rotate the banner ads on their site — and those are typically javascripts which the search engines cannot read.
